Day 1The first stop out of Labuan Bajo. A short climb, then the photo session everyone starts the trip with.
Day 1Sheltered water and a shallow reef — the afternoon snorkel that follows lunch aboard.
Day 1Sunset, then thousands of flying foxes lifting off the mangroves at once.
Day 2Climbed at 06:00, before breakfast. Three bays, one ridge, the best light of the day.
Day 2Crushed red coral against turquoise. Snorkel straight off the tender.
Day 2A ranger-guided trek at 11:30. Dragons on their own ground.
Day 2A sandbar that surfaces with the tide. An hour, all of it photographed.
Day 2Karang Makassar at 14:30, when the current brings the mantas through.
Day 3The last swim of the trip, at 08:00, before lunch and the run back to Labuan Bajo.

Open-trip windows run in every month of 2026, four to five departures a month. The operator’s recommended season is March to December; physical demand across the three days is moderate, with two short island treks.

To have the boat to yourselves on the same route, the 2026 charter rate is USD 7,100 for one to twelve guests and USD 8,000 for thirteen to eighteen. For 2027 it is USD 7,800 and USD 8,800. Park fees are additional in every case.
No. Every cabin has its own private bathroom and air conditioning, and on the open trip you book the cabin, not a bed in a dormitory. The only shared-occupancy option sits inside the two four-berth Grandis cabins, and it is optional and priced separately.
Pick-up from a Labuan Bajo hotel or the airport is arranged between 08:00 and 09:00 on day one. The boat is back alongside around midday on day three, after breakfast and a final snorkelling stop at Sebayur. Book a departure flight from mid-afternoon onwards.
Yes — 06:00 on day two, before breakfast. It is the coolest part of the day and the best light. The path is stepped and partly loose, so bring shoes with grip and water.
Catnazse is a snorkelling liveaboard. The published inclusions cover snorkelling gear and life vests only. If you want to dive, the booking desk can arrange it with a licensed Labuan Bajo dive centre separately.
Manta Point sits on the day-two route at 14:30 and mantas are resident there, but they are wild animals and no operator can promise a sighting on a given afternoon.
The maximum is eighteen guests across eight cabins. Open-trip departures are often smaller because they fill cabin by cabin — the booking desk can tell you the current load for your date.
