The Short Answer
A charter is priced per boat, not per person. One to twelve guests pay the same; thirteen to eighteen adds a step. That is why a charter beats the open trip once your group reaches around sixteen people.
With one to twelve guests, 2026 runs from USD 5,200 for a day trip and USD 5,900 for 2D1N up to USD 39,000 for 12D11N. 2027 rates are published for the same durations.
Everything on the published inclusions list comes with the boat — cabins, meals, guide, snorkelling gear, transfers and the drone and GoPro documentation. Park fees stay outside the price.

Two suites on the upper deck, four rooms on the main deck, two family cabins below. Every one has a private bathroom and air conditioning.
On a charter the cabins are not sold individually — the whole boat comes with the booking, and you decide who sleeps where.

The questions the booking desk answers most often.
From USD 5,900 for 2D1N with one to twelve guests in 2026, rising to USD 39,000 for 12D11N; a one-day trip is USD 5,200. The thirteen-to-eighteen band adds USD 900 on durations up to 3D2N in 2026 (USD 1,000 in 2027), and the step widens with length. Komodo National Park fees are additional.
Only across one step. One to twelve guests pay the same whole-boat rate; thirteen to eighteen pay the higher band. There is no per-person charter price.
Around sixteen people on the 3D2N. At the mid-range open-trip rate of USD 530 per person, twelve guests pay USD 6,360 — still under the USD 7,100 charter for one to twelve. From thirteen guests the charter is USD 8,000, and the open trip passes that at sixteen people (USD 8,480). In 2027 the crossover is also sixteen: USD 570 a head against USD 7,800 and USD 8,800.
Yes, within reason. The ranger trek on Komodo Island runs on the park’s schedule and sea state governs the crossings, but how long you stay at each site is yours to decide.

Catnazse is a snorkelling liveaboard — no compressor, no tank storage, no dive deck. The booking desk can coordinate diving separately with a licensed Labuan Bajo centre.
Flights, drinks beyond water, coffee and tea, personal snacks, personal expenses, crew gratuities, Komodo National Park fees, and the optional park drone permit.
