Worth knowing before you book: Manta Point and Taka Makassar are not on the two-day route. If either one is why you are coming to Komodo, take the 3D2N.

Published open-trip departures on Catnazse are the 3D2N. The two-day itinerary runs as a private charter, so you take the whole boat and choose the date.
Pick-up from a Labuan Bajo hotel or the airport is arranged between 08:00 and 09:00 on day one. You are back alongside in Labuan Bajo early afternoon on day two, after the Komodo Island trek and lunch aboard.
It is enough to see Padar at sunrise and meet the dragons, which is what most first-time visitors come for. It is not enough for the manta sites, and the second morning is busy.
